Cancellation Policy – The Doggy Detour

We understand that plans can change, and we do our best to accommodate our clients. 

However, as a mobile dog grooming service, last-minute cancellations directly impact our 

schedule and ability to serve other customers.

To ensure fairness and efficiency, we have implemented the following cancellation policy:

Cancellation Notice:

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ 

notice prior to your scheduled time.

Late Cancellations:

Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the scheduled service cost.

No-Shows:

If we arrive for your appointment and are unable to groom your dog due to your absence or inability to access the pet, this will be treated as a late cancellation and will also be subject to the 50% service charge.
