The Doggy Detour – Mobile Dog Grooming

This agreement releases The Doggy Detour from all liability relating to injuries, damages,
or losses that may occur during or as a result of the grooming process or while on the
client’s property.

By signing this agreement, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

Pet Health & Behavior Disclosure:
I affirm that I have informed the groomer of any and all known medical conditions,
behavioral issues, sensitivities, or aggressive tendencies my pet may have. I understand
that failure to disclose such information may result in injury to my pet or the groomer.

Risk of Injury or Stress:
I understand that grooming can be stressful for some pets, especially those who are
elderly, aggressive, anxious, or in poor health. I agree that The Doggy Detour will not be
held liable for any stress-related injuries, illness, or aggravation of pre-existing conditions
that may arise during or after grooming.

Matting & Grooming Risks:
I understand that if my pet's coat is severely matted, the only safe solution may be shaving the coat. This can result in minor skin irritation, nicks, or cuts due to hidden skin issues or
the condition of the coat. I release The Doggy Detour from any liability resulting from
grooming a matted pet.

Parasites & Skin Conditions:
If parasites (such as fleas or ticks) are found during the grooming process, I understand
that The Doggy Detour may treat my pet with an appropriate product and additional
charges may apply. The Doggy Detour is not responsible for any reactions caused by
products used during treatment.

Emergency Situations:
In the event of a medical emergency, I authorize The Doggy Detour to seek veterinary
treatment for my pet at the nearest available clinic, and I agree to be responsible for all
associated costs.

Property Access & Safety:
I grant The Doggy Detour permission to access my property for grooming services and
confirm that the area where services will be performed is safe and secure for both the
groomer and my pet.

Hold Harmless Agreement:
I agree to hold harmless and indemnify The Doggy Detour from any and all claims, actions,
damages, or losses arising out of or related to the services provided.
